In the words of Henri Matisse, "There are always flowers for those who wish to see them".

Disappointment has a face.
It's yours.
It's you at 3 am when you realise things aren't going to turn out the way you wished them to.
It's resigning to the fact that no matter how much you try, it just won't work.
It's your final bow to the curtain that never opened.

But disappointment also has a friend, called Hope.
Hope turns up when you're listening to that song that fills you with butterflies.
Hope is listening to you and hears that you need a fresh start.
Hope is your reminder that you haven't completely lost yourself and that under all the layers of disappointment; you didn't get squashed.

With every disappointment that you lay to rest, with every journey that comes to an end and with every love story that breaks your heart before it has even begun; you always have a choice.

You can choose to be bitter, to be disappointed, to be hopeless and "give up", or you can dust yourself off and surrender yourself to the infinite possibilities that the universe offers.

The opportunities that you will only see, if you are looking.

Don't give up.
Don't stop trying.

Look for yourself in the rubble of shattered dreams.
Pick yourself up.
Dust yourself off.

and present yourself as a child of the universe, with an endless capacity to love, be loved and radiate unapologetically with all of the goodness this magnificent world has to offer.
